Acratha Entertainment's name and philosophy are inspired by the life and work of Ácrata Souza Martins, grandfather of the founder and CEO Barbara Riethe. Ácrata was a doctor and poet who dedicated his life to the lives of others with charity, honesty, hard work, discipline and humanity as the fundamental ethics of his craft. To him, the artist “heals people’s souls in a sacred way”.
Respecting the philosophy and heart of the company, part of the company's profits will be donated, preferably, to the education of young artists who do not have the resources and opportunity to study.
“A piece of art does not belong only to the artist, but also to the audience who transforms it within themselves. A revolution is not about making war, but it begins in the heart and in the mind of people, it’s about planting a seed smoothly and see it growing strong, breaking through the concrete.”
